Bocconi University presents a study on the Olympic candidature

On 8th May, a study focused on the economic and fiscal impact of the candidate Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Winter Games has been presented in the premises of Bocconi University.
Prof. Marco Percoco, Director of GREEN (Centre for Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks) at Università Bocconi, explained that the Games are an incredible opportunity for the whole country, that will boost the economy and occupation. The event was an opportunity to share technical information and organise a roundtable, attended by a number of champions who shared their Olympic experiences and turned on the dream of hosting the Olympic Winter Games in 2026.

The following public authorities attended: Gianmario Verona (Rector, Bocconi University), Roberta Guaineri (City Councillor for Tourism and Sport, Municipality of Milan), Marco Percoco (Director, GREEN Centre for Geography, Resources, Environment, Energy and Networks, Bocconi) : Ludovico Edalli (Italian Champion of Gymnastics and Olympic Medalist, Youth Olympic Games), Claudia Giordani (World Champion and Olympic Ski Medalist), Jacopo Luchini (Paralympic Snowboard Champion), Giorgio Rocca (Special Slalom World Champion) and Riccardo Taranto (Managing Director, Bocconi University).
