On 30th May, the Undersecretary for Large Sport Events of Lombardia Region, Antonio Rossi, met in Bormio with the students to illustrate the path of the Italian candidature of Milano Cortina 2026 for the Olympic Winter Games.
The event took place in the auditorium of the Alberti Institute, in the multifunctional complex of Rasin. Many athletes joined Rossi to share with the large audience of students their Olympic experience and expectations about the candidature.
Among them, Pietro Vitalini (former downhill skier), Robert Antonioli (current skialp champion), Federica Sosio (young rising star in downhill ski), Michele Antonioli and Barbara Baldissera (both former short track athletes) and Christian De Lorenzi (former biathlete).
Welcoming the guests, the school principal Bruno Spechenhauser and the local mayors of Bormio, Roberto Volpato, Valdisotto, Alessandro Pedrini, and Valdidentro, Massimiliano Trabucchi.
